Galen C Nelson

Galen C Nelson, PA-C, MPAS, is an experienced physician assistant with a robust background in comprehensive healthcare provision to underserved populations. Currently serving as a Certified VA Disability Medical Examiner at Frontera Search Partners since August 2021, Galen previously held positions including Physician Assistant at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center from December 2013 to December 2022 and at Community Health System, Inc. from December 2008 to December 2013. Galen's career in healthcare began in the US Navy, where a range of roles included providing medical care to active duty and retired personnel. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Physician Assistant from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
