Anca Cristina Pristavu

Anca Cristina Pristavu is an experienced professional in the field of migration and asylum, currently serving as a Coordinating Liaison Officer at Frontex since February 2018. Previously held positions include Senior Operational Support Officer at the European Asylum Support Office, where responsibilities included coordinating the deployment of Asylum Support Teams and setting up emergency support programs. Anca has also worked as a Senior Policy Officer at the Oficiul Roman pentru Imigrari, JHA counsellor at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the EU, and desk officer for migration and asylum at Ministerul Afacerilor Interne România. Additionally, Anca held the position of Head of Legal Department at the United Nations Youth Association of Romania and completed an internship at UNHCR. Anca holds a Bachelor of Laws in International Public Law, a Master of Philosophy in Political Science and Government Administration, and has completed training in EU Asylum Law & Policy.
