Joel Cyr

Joel Cyr has extensive work experience in the field of IT and has held various managerial roles throughout their career. From 1995 to 2006, they worked at Verizon as an IT Senior Manager where they directed numerous project life cycles and supported thousands of users with real-time data analytics.

In 2006, Joel joined FedEx Services where they held multiple roles over the course of 16 years. As the Business Intelligence IT Manager, they managed development, ETL, and system admin teams, and modernized the reporting infrastructure using various tools. Joel later became the IT Director for Architecture, DevSecOps, and Data Analytics, where they oversaw technical architecture practices and established governing principles and standards. In their final role at FedEx, they served as the IT Director for DevSecOps, Back Office, Rating, Pricing, and International, where they focused on retiring legacy systems and developing migration strategies.

Joel's most recent role is with Frontgrade Technologies as the Director of IT Applications, starting in 2023.

Joel Cyr attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Information Technology.
