Jim McKinnon

Jim McKinnon began their work experience as a Propulsion Design Engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne in 1987. Jim then went on to establish their own company, Frontier Engineering, in 1998 and served as the Owner until September 2014. In October 2014, they joined Frontier Aerospace Corporation as President and Propulsion Research Engineer, where they focus on developing new technologies in rocket propulsion systems.

Jim McKinnon attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1982 to 1987. Jim pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering during this period.
