Bill Russo has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Bill started their career as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic at TIMCO LineCare in 2005. Bill then worked as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Aircraft Inspector, and Training Instructor at TIMCO Aviation Services, Inc. from 2006 to 2009. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Senior Instructor and managed the training department at TIMCO Aviation Services, Inc. In 2013, they joined Dynamic Aviation where they worked as a Maintenance Training Instructor/Curriculum Developer, Manager of Training, and Manager of Corporate Training & Development. In 2015, they became an Instructor at AviationEd. From 2009 to 2019, they worked as an Aviation Maintenance Training Consultant. Bill also held the position of Aviation Program Director at the University of the District of Columbia from 2016 to 2021. In 2021, they became a Line Supervisor at FEAM Maintenance/Engineering. Bill then transitioned to Manager AQP & SMS at JetBlue in 2022 and is currently serving as the Director of Tech Ops Training for Frontier Airlines since 2023. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in managing training programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing innovative instructional materials.

Bill Russo (he/him) holds a Master's Degree in Dual Specialization in Aviation Education & Human Factors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Aeronautics from the same university from 1998 to 2002. In 1997 to 1998, Bill earned an Aviation/Aerospace Safety Professional Certificate, also from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including a Certificate in Effective College Instruction from ACUE (Association of College and University Educators) in 2018, an Inspection Authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration in March 2009, and an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate from the same institution in 2003.
