Waylon Shields

Waylon Shields is an experienced aerospace program manager, currently employed at Frontier Electronic Systems since October 2015. In addition, Waylon has been the small business owner and entrepreneur at Shields Plumbing, LLC since March 2004, focusing on business planning, marketing strategies, and financial metrics. Previously, Waylon served as the director of project management for the burner division at John Zink Hamworthy Combustion and as sales, marketing, and engineering director at Aurra Industries. At Mercury Marine, Waylon was the director of customer service, achieving significant cost savings through product improvement initiatives. Waylon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and an Associate of Science degree in Drafting and Design Technology from Connors State College.
