James Haile

James Haile is a Senior Engineer at Frontier Energy, Inc., since November 2015, where responsibilities include managing field and laboratory research projects and overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting. Prior to this role, James served as a Staff Engineer at the California Energy Commission from February 2012 to October 2015, focusing on the Home Energy Rating System program. James also worked as an Energy Analyst in the Renewable Energy Division, leading a project to rescue the Renewables Portfolio Standard program’s facility certification database. Earlier experiences include roles as a Student Research Assistant at the Western Cooling Efficiency Center and a Student Assistant at the George E. Brown Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation, where duties encompassed data analysis and report preparation. James completed a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautical Science and Engineering at the University of California, Davis, from 2005 to 2010.
