Monique Silva Bobadilla has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Regional Human Resource Manager and Staffing Manager at Edwards Lifesciences, where they were responsible for employee relations, recruiting plans, and management training. In 2000, they became a Senior Human Resource Manager at Digirad, where they developed recruiting strategies and implemented policies and procedures. Monique Silva then moved on to Biogen Idec in 2002 as a Senior Human Resource Business Partner, providing HR support to various departments and serving as a strategic partner to several senior leaders. At Genentech, where they worked from 2005 to 2017, they held the role of Associate Director Human Resources Business Partner, focusing on global functions, leadership development, and talent management. From 2014 to 2017, at Roche, they served as a Global Process Development HR Business Partner, working closely with business leaders to execute business strategies and implement people agendas. Following that, they joined Genentech again in 2017 as the SSF Global Product Development & Global Product Strategy Human Resources Director, overseeing HR priorities and strategies for the organization. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Chief People & Culture Officer at Encoded Therapeutics Inc., responsible for all aspects of people and culture, including organizational design, performance management, and employee training. In 2021, they became a founding member of nFormation, and in 2022, they assumed the role of Chief People & Culture Officer at Frontier Medicines. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, organizational development, talent management, and leadership development.
Monique Silva Bobadilla earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Sociology, and Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Monique Silva attended the university from 1983 to 1988.
