Ryan McFadden

Ryan McFadden has extensive experience in the field of medicinal chemistry. Ryan started their career at Gilead Sciences in 2008 and progressed through various roles, including Research Scientist I, Research Scientist II, and Senior Research Scientist. In 2021, they joined IDEAYA Biosciences as Director of Medicinal Chemistry, where they worked until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Scientist at Frontier Medicines.

Ryan McFadden earned a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry from Purdue University from 1998 to 2002.
