Matthew Cole

Matthew Cole has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Matthew started their career as a Web Developer at Netview Internet Solutions, where they designed and produced websites for clients. Matthew then worked at Earthport as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the development of a Java-based e-money solution and upgraded the company's intranet software.

Later, Matthew joined Sciron I.T. Limited as a Software Developer, where they designed and built the company's intranet and assisted in developing an order management system for a client. Matthew then moved to Glasswall Solutions Limited as an Application Developer, leading a team in designing and implementing the back-end components for a policy management engine.

Matthew's most recent work experience is with Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc. (FSTRF) as a Programmer/Analyst and later as a Software Project Manager. As a Programmer/Analyst, they developed ColdFusion web applications, maintained legacy systems, and participated in the full software lifecycle. In their role as a Software Project Manager, Matthew managed a team of programmers, estimated and prioritized work, and interviewed and hired new team members.

Throughout their career, Matthew has gained expertise in various programming languages and technologies, including Java, C, Perl, ColdFusion, XML, XSLT, and SQL. Their work experience demonstrates their ability to handle diverse responsibilities and successfully manage projects.

Matthew Cole attended the University of Essex from 1999 to 2002 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science. Additionally, in 2007, they obtained certifications as a Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java 2 Platform from Sun Microsystems in August, and as a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 also from Sun Microsystems in June.
