Florin Cania

Florin Cania is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software testing and development, currently serving as the Head of Test Automation at Frontier Smart Technologies since May 2013, where significant achievements include building the first Automation/DevOps team and leading a multi-site group of software engineers. Prior roles include Head of Test Engineering, managing a team of 12 engineers, and Test Manager, responsible for establishing testing processes at the Timisoara Development Center. Previous experience includes senior roles at Yazaki Component Technology and Movidius, where Florin led testing teams and improved testing processes, and began a career as a software developer at Continental. Florin holds an MBA and multiple engineering degrees from Universitatea Politehnica din Timişoara, complemented by foundational education in electromechanical technology.
