Pranav Birla has a diverse work experience in business development and sales roles. Pranav started their career in 2009 as a Sales Representative at Vodafone New Zealand, where they were responsible for canvassing door-to-door and closing deals for mobile and broadband packages. In 2011, they worked as a Senior Sales Representative at ADT, where they focused on selling security systems and meeting sales targets.
In 2012, Pranav joined Deloitte New Zealand as an Audit Analyst, adhering to the company's audit assurance model. Pranav then moved onto Datacom in 2013, where they held the roles of SME Business Development Manager, targeting the SME market and selling cloud-based payroll solutions, and later as an Enterprise Business Development Manager.
Pranav further expanded their business development expertise at Presence of IT as the National Business Development and Account Manager for SAP SuccessFactors. Pranav then joined Deloitte New Zealand again in 2019 as an Associate Director, specializing in client acquisition for HR transformation projects using HR technology tools.
In 2021, Pranav joined MYOB as an Enterprise Business Development Manager, working with Kiwi and Australian companies to reform business processes using MYOB's product suite. Currently, they hold the position of a Business Development Manager for Frontier Software, responsible for sales presentations, marketing coordination, and pre-sales management in New Zealand and Fiji.
Pranav Birla's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. Pranav attended Our Lady of Fatima Convent High School from 1994 to 2004, where they pursued general studies. From 2004 to 2006, they attended B.D.P School, focusing on business and commerce. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they enrolled in Unitec | Te Pūkenga, where they completed a Bachelor of Business degree with a specialization in accounting.
In addition to their formal education, Pranav Birla has obtained certifications in sales software. Pranav earned the Hubspot Sales Software Certification from HubSpot in February 2023. Furthermore, in July 2021, they completed the Learning LinkedIn Sales Navigator certification offered by LinkedIn.
