Babis Magoutas

Babis Magoutas is an experienced professional in the fields of research, innovation, and technology management. As the Co-Founder and CEO of FrontierInnovations since August 2020, Babis leads initiatives that focus on technological advancements. Previously, Babis served as a Research and Innovation Manager at the Information Management Unit (IMU) from January 2011 to September 2022, specializing in situation awareness and expert systems. Babis held a teaching assistant position at the National Technical University of Athens, contributing to courses in Management Information Systems and supervising diploma theses. Babis's early career includes roles as a Software Engineer at the Centre of Information Technology of the Greek Army and Intracom Telecom, as well as a Consultant for the Greek Ministry of Development. Babis holds a PhD focused on adaptive evaluation of electronic services from the National Technical University of Athens, along with an MBA and a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
