Federico Scarpa

Federico Scarpa is a Full Professor at Università degli Studi di Genova since July 1995, specializing in the quality of forecasting processes, particularly in estimation theory and Kalman filtering, to aid decision makers in evaluating benefits versus risks using quantitative data. Additionally, since August 2015, Federico Scarpa has served as an Associate Editor for the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning specialty section of Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering, contributing to an open access platform for peer-reviewed research. Federico Scarpa began a career in research at TEC from 1995 to 2011 and holds a PhD in Applied Thermodynamics from the Faculty of Engineering, following education at Istituto Arecco, where a Liceo Scientifico degree was obtained.
