Kelly Perlman

Kelly Perlman is a PhD candidate at McGill University, pursuing research in neuroscience with a focus on suicide studies at the McGill Group for Suicide Studies since September 2018. As co-founder and VP of Research at Aifred Health, Perlman contributes to the use of AI in enhancing treatment decisions for mental healthcare. Additionally, Perlman serves as a Guest Associate Editor with Frontiers, focusing on machine learning and AI safety in healthcare. Previous roles include student researcher positions in neuroimmunology and neuroimaging at The Montreal Neurological Institute and McGill University, respectively, as well as leadership and editorial roles in various academic and educational initiatives. Perlman holds a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from McGill University, completed in 2018.
