Luca Biasco, PhD, currently serves as Vice President and lead of Preclinical Programs at nChroma Bio since January 2025, and holds the position of Associate Editor in Genome Editing in Human Health and Disease for Frontiers. As a visiting professor and senior research associate at UCL since July 2016, Luca has also held various senior roles in biotechnology firms, including Vice President at Nvelop Therapeutics, where the focus was on Particle Science for in vivo delivery of genetic payloads, and Executive Director at Sana Biotechnology, overseeing in vivo delivery to Hematopoietic Stem Cells. Previous experience includes leadership positions at AVROBIO, faculty roles at Harvard institutions and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and a solid educational background with a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Università vita e salute San Raffaele and a Master's Degree in Medical Biotechnology from Alma mater studiorum Università di Bologna.
