Michela Chiappalone

Michela Chiappalone is an Associate Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Genova, where they conduct research in translational neuroengineering, focusing on neuromodulation and neuroprosthetics. Michela graduated in Electronic Engineering summa cum laude in 1999 and earned a PhD in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Genova in 2003. They have held various positions, including Post Doc at the University of Genova and a team leader role at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. Michela has contributed to the field as an IEEE EMBS Distinguished Lecturer and has authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters, actively participating in the academic community.
