Rafa Tasnim

Rafa Tasnim, Ph.D., currently serves as a Publishing Specialist in Content at Frontiers since December 2022. Previously, Rafa held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maine, where substantial research and project management expertise in Soil, Plant/Crop Physiology, and Yield were developed. This experience includes leading large-scale projects and collaborating with scientific teams. Rafa also worked as a Research Postgraduate Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, focusing on plant-soil-climate interactions and contributing to the development of a controlled growth chamber for laboratory research. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Ecology and Environmental Science from the University of Maine, a Master's degree in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Military Institute of Science and Technology.
