Darren Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the banking and financial industry. Darren founded and served as the CEO of Frontline Analysts since 2005, where they provided top banks and asset managers with analysts specializing in equity, credit, and risk. Prior to this, they worked at WestLB as a Director of credit research from November 2000 to March 2005. Darren also held similar roles at BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas and Societe Generale, where they served as a Director of credit research. Darren'scareer began at the Bank of England, where they worked in bond markets and bank regulation from September 1994 to August 1997.
Darren Sharma completed their A-Levels at King Edward's School, Edgbaston, Birmingham from 1983 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (MA) degree at the University of Oxford from 1990 to 1993. Darren specialized in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at Brasenose College during their time at Oxford. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Social Science (MSocSci) degree in Economics at the University of Birmingham in 1994.
