Adam Slaker

Adam Slaker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Adam initially worked as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's from June 2011 to February 2014, where they managed the register, provided sales support, and organized the stockroom.

Following that, they worked as a Geologist at Geotemps, Inc./Geopros, Inc./Geotemps International from March 2014 to August 2014.

After that, they joined Northern Vines as a Sales Associate from August 2014 to January 2015.

Adam then returned to Geotemps, Inc./Geopros, Inc./Geotemps International, this time as a Staffing Assistant from November 2014 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for assisting in recruitment and placement in the mining industry.

In 2015, they started working as a self-employed Web and Software Developer, where they functioned as a Consulting Web Developer from November 2015 to November 2016.

From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Hub Group.

In 2019, they joined Frontline Education as a UI Developer, and later advanced to the role of Senior UI Developer from November 2020 to March 2021.

Adam then transitioned to Inspire11, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2021 to May 2022, and subsequently as a Software Architect from March 2022 to May 2022.

Their most recent role is with Forkast Labs, where they serve as a Lead Frontend Engineer from May 2022 to July 2023.

Starting from July 2023, Adam will be joining Frontline Education again as a Principal Software Engineer.

Adam Slaker obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Augustana College from the years 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma in General Studies from Westmont High School from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they also possess additional certifications such as "Understanding and Prioritizing Data Privacy" from LinkedIn, obtained in July 2020, and "Certified Scrum Product Owner" from Scrum Alliance, obtained in September 2017.
