Tim Gates

Tim Gates has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Tim started their career as a Video Editor at 2much Media from September 2003 to July 2005. Tim then worked as a Freelance Video Producer at Gates Creative from July 2005 to March 2010.

In 2007, Tim joined Prime To Go as a Post Production Producer/Senior Editor, where they managed a team of creatives and visual effects artists, and handled responsibilities such as writing, directing, producing, editing, and color correction. Tim stayed with the company until December 2013.

From December 2013 to January 2015, Tim worked as an Implementation Specialist for Time and Attendance solutions at an undisclosed company.

In 2015, Tim joined Frontline Education as an Implementation Manager for Frontline Absence & Time, where they led a team of project managers in consulting and configuring K12 school districts for a web-based time & attendance solution. During their tenure, they achieved significant accomplishments such as merging separate product-focused teams into one, developing a standardized implementation methodology, and gaining in-depth knowledge of time and attendance regulations. Tim held this position until October 2019.

Next, Tim took on the role of Product Manager, Frontline HRMS at Frontline Education from October 2019 to February 2021. Currently, they serve as the Group Product Manager at the same company, starting in February 2021.

Tim Gates attended Penn State University from 1998 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a focus on Film & Video. In addition to their degree, Tim has also obtained several certifications. Tim completed the "Fundamentals of Project Management" certification from Penn State University in February 2017. Tim is currently pursuing a certification as a Workforce Asset Management Professional (WAM-Pro) from the Association for Workforce Asset Management, which they began in January 2017. Tim also obtained a PMC-II certification from Pragmatic Marketing in October 2014.
