Ofir Semel started their work experience in 2001 as a Communications Officer in the IDF - Israel Defence Forces. ofir then worked as a tribe leader in Israel scouts from September 2006 to August 2007. In 2011, they joined Amdocs as a c++ developer, where they were involved in the end-to-end development process of rating logic configuration (RLC) and participated in all project cycles. ofir also designed and built automation tests. Currently, they are working as a Software Developer at Frontline PCB Solutions since January 2022.

Ofir Semel completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2007 to 2011. Currently, Ofir is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare at the same university, starting in 2022. In addition to their formal education, Ofir has obtained several certifications related to programming and technology. These certifications include "Multi-threading in C++" and "Java SE 8 Programmer I" from Udemy in 2021, "Effective Android Testing for Mobile Developers" from LinkedIn in 2018, and various certifications in programming languages such as Java, SQL, Python, HTML, and PHP from SoloLearn between 2017 and 2018.
