David Hughes

David Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. David began their career as the Finance Director at Wang UK (Getronics) in 1989, where they successfully guided the company through a period of significant restructuring and ensured its survival. After this, they joined Whirlpool Europe in 1994 as the Finance Director, where they played a key role in developing and delivering a growth plan for European operations, resulting in increased revenue, margin, and profit. In 2000, David became the Managing Director of Massive UK (Philips), where they transformed the subsidiary from a loss-making entity to a highly profitable organization through the redevelopment of product ranges and distribution channels. Currently, they serve as the Director of Corporate Services at the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, where they are responsible for finance, ICT, HR, and support services.
