Thomas Kleiven

Thomas Kleiven has a diverse work experience starting in 2009 when they worked as a Maintainer at Isvik Helse AS. Thomas then served in the Norwegian Armed Forces as part of their military service from September 2013 to August 2014. In 2013, they also worked as a Storage Worker at Møbelringen during summer and winter holidays. At Equinor in 2017, they were a Summer Intern where they analyzed data related to equipment maintenance at the plant. In 2018, Thomas joined UBS as a Software Developer Intern and later became a Software Engineer. Thomas then transitioned to the role of Data Scientist, where they developed machine learning models, implemented natural language processing models, and contributed to data extraction and processing for predictive modeling. In 2020, Thomas became the Chief Technology Officer at SeekCity, an organization focused on transforming cities into interactive playgrounds. Currently, they are working as the CTO & Co-Founder at Fruitful Farming AG, a position they started in 2021.

Thomas Kleiven completed their Master's Degree in Engineering and ICT from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2014 and 2019. From 2017 to 2018, they also attended the University of Cape Town, focusing on the Department of Statistical Sciences. Prior to that, between 2010 and 2013, Thomas attended Skeisvang Videregående Skole, specializing in Realfag.

In addition to their educational background, Thomas has obtained several certifications, including Advanced CSS and Sass from Udemy in February 2020, Advanced Machine Learning and Signal Processing from Coursera in February 2020, The Complete Cyber Security Course from Udemy in January 2020, and The Complete React Developer Course (w/ Hooks and Redux) from Udemy in January 2020.
