Josef Reith

Josef Reith has a strong and extensive work experience in the flavor and food industry. Josef has held various high-level positions in different companies.

Josef started their career at Nestle S.A. as a Sales Manager in the Industrial business and R&D department from 1989 to 1993.

Josef then joined FIS as the Managing Director for Austria and Eastern Europe from 1997 to 2001.

Following that, they worked at Givaudan as the Company Manager and Technical Sales Director for Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East from 2001 to 2008.

From 2008 to 2023, Josef Reith worked at IFF, where they held multiple roles. Josef started as the Category Director of Flavors in Greater Asia from 2008 to 2015. Then they became the Director of Flavors and Sub Regional Manager for CSEE & Iran from 2015 to 2020. Subsequently, they served as the Global Head of Sales and Marketing for Savory Solutions from 2019 to 2021. Lastly, they were the Head of Sales for Savory Solutions in Europe from 2021 to 2023.

Currently, they are working at NovaTaste as the Head of Sales for Savory Solutions in Europe.

Josef Reith began their education in 1975 at BS Gmunden, where they pursued an apprenticeship in cooking and successfully completed it in 1978. Following this, they enrolled at the College for chemical industry in Vienna from 1989 to 1991, majoring in Food Technology and earning a Master's degree. However, no specific field of study is mentioned for either degree.
