Karen Helmberger

Karen Helmberger is an accomplished professional in the financial industry, currently serving as the Director of Fintech & Payments at FS-ISAC since July 2022. Prior to this, Karen held various roles at Fiserv, including Card Services Client Executive and ATM & Card Services Migration Project Leader, where responsibilities included serving financial institutions and ensuring a smooth client migration experience. As the Founder & Consultant of Leaderly, Karen focused on business, strategy, and leadership integration. With extensive experience as First Vice President of Bank Operations and Technology at Union Bank & Trust and Second Vice President of Correspondent Banking at First National Bank of Omaha, Karen has demonstrated a strong ability in operations, technology, and team leadership. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Banking from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and completion of multiple graduate banking programs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
