Taryn K. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 2018, they worked as the EMEA Senior Business Resilience & Exercise Manager at FS-ISAC. Before that, Taryn served as the Executive Chairman of BritBangla, a forum promoting empowerment and leadership among British Bengalis. Taryn also held the position of Member of the Executive Board at The Asian Circle, an organization dedicated to ending violence against women in South Asia. Taryn was a Board Member of the John Adams Society, an alumni association for U.S. Embassy exchange programs, and worked as a Policy Advisor at the Department of Energy and Climate Change from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they acted as a Policy Manager at the UK Department of Health, where they focused on stratified medicine, genetics, genomics, and stakeholder engagement.

Taryn K. obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Science with Management & Legislation from Brunel University London. In addition, Taryn holds a Diploma in Public Relations from the London School of PR, and is also accredited in PRINCE 2 (Project Management) Foundation & Practitioner, which was obtained in 2013.
