Team Uttejit is the official Formula Student Hybrid team of  VIT University, Vellore, India. 
In the past few years, we have been emerged out as one of the most successful team and we have showcased it through our achievements:

2017
· Champions of Asia’s largest Formula Student competition- the ISIE-Hybrid Vehicle Challenge
· Best Driver Award
· Green Mobility Award
· Were placed 9th out of 106 Teams Best #Innovation Award

2018-Formula Hybrid, USA
· 3rd position among all the Indian Teams
· 11th overall position in the entire tournament
· Awarded as the lightest vehicle
· 8th position in design report

2019-Formula Hybrid, USA
· 2nd position among all the Indian Teams
· 6th overall position in the entire tournament
· 6th position for the best design report

2020-ISIE FORMULA IMPERIAL
· Formula Imperial Champions
· 1st position for the best design report

The team believes in daring to be different and researches extensively in high performance power trains. The team also works on ways to improve transmission efficiency and energy conversion.
