Jim Hunter

Jim Hunter has a diverse work experience, starting from 1995 as Director of Marketing at Scott Paper. Jim then transitioned to Philips as a VP of Strategic Marketing from 2000 to 2010. Following that, they worked at Luminus Devices as VP&GM Global Commercial Markets from 2010 to 2013. Jim then joined Samsung Electronics as VP Sales & Marketing LED Lighting from 2013 to 2014. Jim later worked at MaxLite as SVP Sales and Marketing from 2015 to 2019. Jim then held the role of VP Sales North America at IDEAL Networks - Proof of Performance from 2019 to 2020 and was the Chief Executive Officer at Apogee Lighting Holdings LLC from 2020 to 2021. Jim's most recent role is as SVP Sales & Marketing at FSC Lighting starting in 2022.

Jim Hunter received a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Guelph, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. After that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree with a focus on Finance, General at the Schulich School of Business - York University from 1981 to 1983.
