Phathu Godfrey Musuthu has a background in accounting and financial planning, having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Venda and a Financial Planning Certificate from PSG Konsult. With experience at STANLIB, Liberty Group South Africa, and currently with Financial Sector Conduct Authority as a Senior Analyst, Phathu has worked in roles such as Client Liaison Officer and Employee Benefits Counsellor. Currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State, Phathu is dedicated to advancing their expertise in financial services.
FSCA South Africa
The FSCA's mandate is to enhance the efficiency and integrity of financial markets; promote fair customer treatment by financial institutions; provide financial education and promote financial literacy; and assist in maintaining financial stability in South Africa. This is in line with the Twin Peaks model of financial sector regulations, as envisioned in the Financial Sector Act 2017 (FSRA).
