David Ha, CPA, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Regulatory and Credentialing Oversight at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), where responsibilities include overseeing the development and implementation of credentialing policies for Financial Planners and Financial Advisors. Previously, David held roles as a Senior Financial Analyst at the Ontario Securities Commission, where notable accomplishments included implementing IFRS 16 and managing full cycle accounting, and as a Senior Fund Accountant at the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, leading the accounting function for the Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund. David's career also includes positions as a Staff Accountant at United Natural Foods and various leadership roles during academic pursuits, including a Vice President position at the York Finance Club, demonstrating strong managerial and financial acumen. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business and is a designated CPA.

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is a new, independent regulatory agency created to improve consumer and pension plan beneficiary protections in Ontario. FSRA was established to replace the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). The agency is flexible, self-funded and designed to respond rapidly to an evolving commercial and consumer environment.
