Don Simon, PMP has a strong background in project management and business analysis. Don most recently worked as a Business Portfolio Program Lead at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA). Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at Hydro One. Don has also held various senior roles at Metrolinx, Tata Consultancy Services, CPP Investments, TD, EY, D+H, Allianz, and Sutherland. With over a decade of experience, Don has developed expertise in managing projects and analyzing business operations.
Don Simon, PMP, holds a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Kerala, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from Allianz.
Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA)
The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is a new, independent regulatory agency created to improve consumer and pension plan beneficiary protections in Ontario. FSRA was established to replace the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). The agency is flexible, self-funded and designed to respond rapidly to an evolving commercial and consumer environment.
