Jeff Sweeting

Jeff Sweeting currently serves as the Director of Policy for Credit Unions, Insurance Prudential, and Pensions at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), a role they have held since 2025. Previously, they garnered extensive experience in policy analysis and development through various positions at the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services, Ontario Ministry of Finance, and Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services. Jeff began their career as a Research Officer at the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit at the University of Toronto, where they led research on anti-contraband tobacco policies. They hold an Honours B.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto and an M.A. in Public Policy and Administration from McMaster University.
