Mark Eagles has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on pension policy. Mark has held various managerial and directorial positions in companies such as FSRA, Mercer, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mark also has a legal background, having worked at Fasken Campbell Godfrey and The Pension Commission of Ontario. Mark holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Western University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University.
Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA)
The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is a new, independent regulatory agency created to improve consumer and pension plan beneficiary protections in Ontario. FSRA was established to replace the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). The agency is flexible, self-funded and designed to respond rapidly to an evolving commercial and consumer environment.
