Sinan Ozcetin

Sinan Ozcetin has a diverse work experience in various industries. Sinan started their career as a Mechanic's Assistant at Maryland Motors in 2005. Sinan then worked as an Electrician's Assistant at Outline Building & Electrical in 2008, where they gained experience in electrical installations and problem solving.

In 2013, Sinan became an AutoCAD Draftsman at UWA Architects, where they performed onsite surveys and created detailed drawings for commercial projects. Sinan also worked as a Customer Host at EAT., where they served customers, maintained shop hygiene, and handled customer queries.

Sinan then transitioned into the engineering field and worked as a Graduate Building Services Engineer at Baily Garner in 2014. Sinan gained practical experience in mechanical ventilation designs and domestic water systems. Sinan also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Hoare Lea, where they were responsible for delivering design drawings and calculations for mechanical projects.

In 2018, Sinan joined MZA Consulting Engineers as a Mechanical Engineer, where they developed problem-solving skills and project management abilities. Sinan designed ventilation systems for the "University of Roehampton Refurbishment" project.

From 2020 to 2023, Sinan worked at Bromcom as a Power BI Developer and Senior Power BI Developer. Sinan developed in-depth knowledge of Power BI and worked closely with clients to understand their data and processes. Sinan also led the delivery of reporting solutions in the education sector.

Currently, Sinan holds the position of Senior BI Engineer at FSP, starting in 2023. Sinan creates business intelligence and data reporting solutions and takes technical responsibility for front-end development.

Throughout their career, Sinan has demonstrated strong technical skills, effective communication with stakeholders, and a dedication to delivering high-quality solutions.

Sinan Ozcetin completed their secondary education at Norlington School from 2001 to 2006, earning GCSEs. Sinan then attended Sir George Monoux College from 2006 to 2008, completing their A Levels in Mathematics, Economics, and Physics. Following this, Sinan pursued higher education at Queen Mary University of London from 2008 to 2012, obtaining a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Sinan has obtained various certifications including Introduction to Power BI, Introduction to Tableau, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Introduction to Microsoft Excel, SQL Bootcamp, SQL Functions and Store Procedures Tutorials, and Introduction to Data & Data Science from institutions such as 365 Data Science and W3Schools.com.
