Sasan Aminpour

Sasan Aminpour has a strong background in operations and leadership roles. Sasan currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at FTC Solar, Inc, where they oversee all company operations. Prior to that, they were a Managing Partner at US Solar Technology Corp. In 2019, they founded HX Tracker Inc., a solar tracker technology startup that was later acquired by FTC Solar. Before their entrepreneurial endeavors, Sasan held the position of SVP of Operations at SunEdison, where they were responsible for global operations and project development. Sasan also served as SVP of Operations at Cypress Semiconductor. Earlier in their career, Sasan worked at McKinsey & Company as a Consultant, focusing on operational strategies for various corporations. Sasan began their professional journey at Honda Motor Co. as a Production Manager.

Sasan Aminpour obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University in the years 1983 to 1989. Sasan then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Integrated Engineering from Middlesex University from 1989 to 1991.
