Andres Bayona

Andres Bayona has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Cofounder & COO at FTEX since January 2019, where they presumably played a key role in the company's operations. Prior to that, they worked as an Economic Advisor at Ville de Montréal from August 2016 to May 2023, providing valuable insights and guidance in the field of economics. Andres also served as a Consultant at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change from July 2013 to March 2016, contributing their expertise in various consulting projects. Before that, they worked as an Environmental Policy Analyst at Transport Canada from May 2010 to July 2013, focusing on environmental policy matters. Additionally, they gained experience as an Associate Consultant at Dalberg Global Development Advisors from March 2009 to April 2010, engaging in management consulting in the fields of economic development, renewable energies, and energy efficiency.

Andres Bayona completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Development Studies at McGill University from 2004 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Local Economic Development with a specialization in the Department of Environment & Geography at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2007 to 2008.
