Aliyah Formont

Aliyah Formont is an experienced energy consultant currently working at FTI Consulting since August 2025, focusing on public affairs. Prior roles include serving as a policy analyst for energy and water at the Texas Public Policy Foundation from July 2023 to July 2025, where Aliyah also contributed as a policy scholar for the Life: Powered and Better Tech for Tomorrow Campaigns. Aliyah's background includes public relations as a specialist for Dance Marathon at the University of Florida, where responsibilities involved managing public reputation, engaging with media, and using social media effectively. Additional experience includes serving as a recruitment ambassador, teaching assistant at the University of Florida, and director of philanthropy for Kappa Delta Sorority, overseeing significant fundraising initiatives. An internship with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection provided hands-on experience in environmental assessment and water quality monitoring. Aliyah holds a Bachelor's degree in Soil, Water, and Ecosystem Sciences and a minor in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership from the University of Florida.
