George Waring

George Waring has a diverse professional background with experience in legal, human resources, and public affairs. The career began with an internship at Interconnector in 2014, where guidance was received from IUK's General Counsel on contract and corporate law, along with producing an index of HR policies to enhance employee awareness. Waring served as a Student Ambassador at The University of Nottingham from November 2016 to July 2018, promoting the university and conducting campus tours for prospective students. Most recently, Waring has held various roles at FTI Consulting from April 2021 to March 2023, culminating in the role of Director within the Strategic Communications segment, where contributions were made to the Public Affairs team in research and material preparation for UK political conferences. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Nottingham, complemented by A Levels in Drama and Theatre Studies, History, and Politics from Bedford Modern School.
