James Nicholson is the Asia Head of Economic and Financial Consulting at FTI Consulting, where they provide expert witness and consulting services in international arbitration and litigation. With previous experience as a Principal at LECG, they founded the Paris disputes team and also held the role of Senior Consultant at Bain & Company. Nicholson served as President of the Standing Committee of the ICC's International Centre for ADR from 2011 to 2021, advising on expert-related services. They began their career as a researcher and reporter for The Guardian's Economics Desk and hold a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, as well as an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School.
