Mark Dunec

Mark Dunec, MAI, CRE, FRICS, is the Senior Managing Director and Co-Leader of FTI Consulting’s Real Estate Valuation Practice and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. With over 20 years of experience in real estate, Dunec specializes in areas including underwriting pro forma cash flow, valuation, and acquisition due diligence, and has worked on complex projects across the U.S. and internationally. Prior to FTI Consulting, they held positions at Lend Lease Americas, Shurgard Storage Centers, and KPMG. Dunec also teaches graduate courses in real estate, providing valuation and litigation support, including expert testimony in numerous legal cases. They earned an MBA in Finance from Pace University.
