Bhavesh Shivshanker

Bhavesh Shivshanker, CFA, CMA has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Bhavesh is currently the Director of Finance Strategy & Transformation and CFO BU Hotels at FTI GROUP, where they are responsible for driving financial strategies and leading transformation initiatives. Prior to this, Bhavesh worked at Etihad Airways as the Head of Financial Operations, leading a large-scale transformation across Finance Operations. At Etihad Airways, they also served as the Senior Manager Cash & Working Capital, overseeing cash management and working capital optimization. Before their tenure at Etihad Airways, Bhavesh held the position of Senior Treasury Manager at Gazprom Marketing & Trading, where they managed the Group Liquidity & Risk team and played a crucial role in liquidity planning and risk management. Bhavesh began their career as a Treasury Analyst at EDF Trading and later worked as a Relationship Associate at Dealogic. Bhavesh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in finance, transformation, and risk management to their current role.

Bhavesh Shivshanker, CFA, CMA holds a BSc in Applied Business Management from Imperial College London, which they completed from 2005 to 2008. Bhavesh is also a Charterholder from the CFA Institute. In 2021, they became a Chartered Global Management Accountant from CIMA. Bhavesh has additional certifications in various subjects, including data science, AI applications, chatbot development, data analysis with Python, computer vision, and Python for data science and AI.
