Derek Young

Derek Young is an accomplished sales and business development professional with extensive experience in various industry sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales at FTR | Transportation Intelligence since January 2019, Derek has previously held roles such as AVP - Sales & Marketing and Business Development Manager within the same company. Before this, Derek was the Owner of Oh Sweetie's Specialty Treats, a retailer specializing in fine gifts, and also founded The Flip Flop Ice Pop Company, focusing on artisan ice pops in Southern Indiana. Earlier career experience includes positions at Cummins Inc., where Derek managed relationships with major OEM manufacturers and provided cross-functional support to enhance sales processes. Derek holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing/Management from Indiana University Indianapolis and has educational experiences at the Golf Academy of America-Myrtle Beach and Marian University Indianapolis.
