Ed Carlson has extensive work experience in the casino industry. Ed is currently serving as the Vice President of Casino Marketing and Player Development at Foxwoods Resort Casino since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Encore Boston Harbor as the Executive Director of Casino Marketing from January 2021 to June 2021, and as the Director of Casino Marketing from December 2018 to January 2021. Ed also held the role of Vice President of Casino Marketing at Ocean Resort Casino from April 2018 to December 2018. Ed Carlson has been associated with Foxwoods Resort Casino since 1995, starting as a Blackjack Dealer and gradually progressing to roles such as Casino Host, Marketing Coordinator, Sr. Casino Marketing Coordinator, Manager of Player Development, and finally Director of Player Development Operations.
Ed Carlson earned a BA in Communications from the University of Connecticut in 1997. Ed then pursued an MBA in Business from the University of New Haven from 2008 to 2010. In 2012, they obtained a PMI Certification in Project Management from the same university.
