Poornima Patel

Poornima Patel has a diverse work experience in various roles. Poornima started their career in 2013 as a Desk Staff at the Office of Residential Life at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Poornima then worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. From 2014 to 2016, Poornima served as the Desk Manager in the same office, where they led a team of 12 staff members and maintained the security of a residential building.

In 2017, Poornima joined Fu Associates as a Software Security & Development Intern, where they developed and maintained Medicare websites and databases. Poornima also tested web applications for security vulnerabilities. Later in 2017, they worked as a Graduate Assistant in Web Application Development at the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems, contributing to the development of web applications.

In 2018, Poornima rejoined Fu Associates as an Information Technology Security Analyst, where they currently work.

Poornima Patel completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2012 to 2016. Poornima then pursued their Master of Science in Computer Science at Towson University from 2016 to 2018.
