John Montgomery has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and companies. John started their career at Commonwealth Edison in 1982 as a Maintenance Manager, responsible for overseeing a large workforce and ensuring timely completion of scheduled outages. John then moved on to become an Assistant Plant Manager at Commonwealth Edison in 1987. In 1994, they joined Exelon as a Rotating Equipment Specialist. Finally, in 2007, they joined Fuel Tech as a Senior Project Manager, where they managed pollution control projects for various clients across the country, with project sizes ranging from $100k to $15M. Most of these projects focused on SNCR reductions.
John Montgomery obtained a Certificate for Project Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002-2003. Prior to that, they attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and History.
