Zhongxian Cheng has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Zhongxian began their career in 2004 as a Research Engineer at the Institute for Combustion Science and Environmental Technology in Bowling Green, KY. Zhongxian worked there for three years before moving on to a role as a Sr. Research Engineer at SmartBurn, a division of Alliant Energy, from 2007 to 2008. Following this, they joined Fuel Tech Inc in 2008 as a Lead Process Engineer and FT-Beijing FT Liaison Representative. Throughout their career, Zhongxian has gained valuable experience in process engineering and research.
Zhongxian Cheng has a diverse education history. Zhongxian holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Combustion and Laser Diagnostics from Vanderbilt University. In addition, they have a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution. Prior to that, Zhongxian Cheng completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Machinery Engineering at Dalian University of Technology.
