Matthew Stephen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Matthew started working at Dollarama in 2002 as a cash/stalk boy/security, and stayed there until 2006. Matthew then moved to Best Buy Canada, where they held various roles including Loss Prevention Senior, Cash Room Senior, and inventory Control Senior/loss prevention Senior. Matthew worked at Best Buy Canada from 2006 to 2013. In 2014, Matthew joined Fuel Transport Inc. as a Logistics Support Agent, and then later became a Warehouse Specialist. Matthew held different positions within the company, with their most recent role being a Warehouse Specialist since 2019.

In 2012, they obtained a First Aid degree from Santinel Inc.
Additionally, Matthew Stephen obtained a Forklift License from Liftow Limited in February 2018.
