Michelle Collins-Thomas

Michelle Collins-Thomas is an experienced educator with a robust career in early childhood education spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Supervisor of the Early Childhood Department for Jersey City Public Schools, Michelle collaborates with diverse stakeholders to enhance educational programs and foster professional development. Previous roles include Community & Parent Involvement Specialist and Teacher within the same district, alongside positions as an Adjunct Professor at both Hudson County Community College and New Jersey City University. Michelle's involvement in the FuelEd Fellowship further demonstrates a commitment to supporting underrepresented educators. Michelle holds a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Administration and Family Studies from Kean University, a Master of Arts in Education from Saint Peter's University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from The University of West Alabama.
