Barry Walsh is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in project delivery and management in the energy sector. Currently serving as Project Delivery Director at Fugro since August 2013, Barry has also held roles as Project Manager and Lead Project Engineer within the same company. Prior to Fugro, Barry worked at Talisman Energy as a Subsea Engineer from January 2011 to January 2013 and spent nearly five years at Subsea 7 as a Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer. Barry holds a Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualification from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and earned an MSc in Energy, Oil and Gas (with Distinction) from Heriot Watt University in 2006, as well as a BEng with Honours from N.U.I Galway in 2005.
